Whether you’re a couple looking to put down roots for your children to grow or a retired couple looking to downsize, we think you’ll fit right in at Langdale.

The Home Style You Want

Sterling currently builds two types of homes in Langdale: townhomes and front-attached homes.

Our townhomes start at just $289,000, and they are surprisingly spacious. You can find them in two- and three-bedroom styles, and they all have a balcony area that’s perfect for barbecues. These are great homes for young professionals, new families, and retirees. Need to move quickly? You’ll almost always find quick possession townhomes for sale.

Our front-attached homes offer the space that a growing family needs, including floor plans with more than 2,000 square feet. With this style of home, you’ll enjoy a backyard for the kids to play in, along with super-luxurious designs for the kitchen, bathroom, and entire home.

Langdale really stands out among the crowd. This excellent community has been designed with an Old English flair, so you’ll see things like cobblestone paths and beautiful details like lampposts and a clock tower. There’s an urban forest set within the neighbourhood, but also green spaces. Residents seem to really like the way that the paths connect everything, and a lot of people enjoy taking their morning walks around the stormwater ponds. There are even benches if you feel like you need a break.

Nearby Shopping

Of course, a great community wouldn’t be complete without easy access to all of the amenities of modern life. Though the neighbourhood has an old world look, you won’t have to drive far to get the groceries, gas, money from the bank, or even a special present for your friend’s birthday. For instance, Currents of Windermere, South Edmonton Common, and West Edmonton Mall are all popular destinations for those who live in Langdale. They’re all just a few minutes’ drive away.

We’ve already mentioned that residents love the walking trails, but there’s also a playground in the community, and a wide open green space perfect for throwing a Frisbee around. Take your kids here when the weather is nice so they can burn off some energy before bedtime. They’re also likely to be able to meet up with other kids who live nearby. Perhaps they’ll become lifelong friends.

Want to have some fun outside of the neighbourhood? There are plenty of places you could choose to go. Golfers particularly love this location because it’s set between three of Edmonton’s best golf courses - Windermere Golf and Country Club, River Ridge Golf and Country Club, and Jagare Ridge Golf and Country Club. You don’t necessarily have to be a member to golf.

If golf isn’t your thing, you might enjoy going to Terwillegar Park. This park offers great spaces for kids to run and play, but there’s also an off-leash area if you want to let the dog run around. It’s also connected to the Terwillegar Recreation Centre, which has a pool, fitness equipment, and an indoor playground for the kids.

Great School Choices

You want your kids to get the best education possible, and they can get this at the phenomenal nearby schools. Most kids will go to Constable Daniel Woodall school for the elementary years. This newly built school has a strong focus on the importance of building relationships alongside improving academic skills. Of course, you may also be able to have your child go to any other public school in Edmonton, provided that school has open borders.

If you’re interested in Catholic schools, St. John XXIII has a lot to offer. They go up to 9th grade, so you get to keep your child in a nurturing environment a little bit longer.

An Easy Commute

Aside from all the great features we’ve mentioned, Langdale’s convenient location means you’ll have an easy time commuting no matter where you work. It’s only about 30 minutes to the downtown area by car and about an hour by bus. The airport is even closer. A short commute time means you’ll have more time to spend on the things you love.

Clearly, Langdale offers a lot of benefits to residents. Does it sound like it might be the right place for you? Come out for a tour, then talk to an Area Manager about making Langdale your home.
