Welcome to Spruce Grove! In this scenic bedroom suburb we have Springate at Spruce Ridge. A community known for its great amenities and easy living. What's more, this neighbourhood offers a small town feel with the big city amenities we’ve all grown to love. 

As you enter Spruce Grove, you will see why it’s known for being a place to raise a family, enjoy recreation, and the prairie attributes. Just minutes outside of Edmonton, many find it’s simple to get to and from just about anywhere. 

Parks and Green Spaces

If you're looking to live in a neighbourhood surrounded by the great outdoors, Springate may be just the right fit for you. Spruce Grove has many playgrounds, green spaces and paved walking trails and, in scenic Springate, you'll be able to reach more than 20 different parks in and around the area in no time. 

For instance, beautiful Legacy Park is just s short distance away and is a great place to go for a family stroll or picnic. Or you may prefer to head over to dog-friendly Windermere Park. The roomy off leash dog area guarantees fun for the whole family, including your four legged friend. In short, if you love to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air, you'll have plenty of opportunity living in Spring Gate.

If you prefer to take your activities indoors, Springate is adjacent to the Trans Alta Tri Leisure Centre - a huge rec centre that offers everything from fitness classes to swim lessons. Here too, there are a variety of family-friendly programs to choose from - guaranteeing something for everyone. 

As for shopping, you'll be close to many big box stores including Wal-mart, Superstore, Home Depot and more. With so many great shopping destinations and services nearby, running errands is sure to be a breeze.  

You also won't have to worry about where to go for a night on the town. With so many restaurants and pubs, it's easy to head out for a family dinner or meet up with a few friends after work or on the weekend. You can take in some live theatre at the Horizon Stage Performing Arts Centre, or catch the latest flicks at Landmark Cinemas. Whatever you prefer, you'll find no shortage of things to do and great places to eat.

If schools are a major determining factor for the next neighbourhood you choose to call home, the Parkland School Division won’t disappoint. There is a multitude of schools within close proximity for all grades and learning preferences - including public and religious based options. These include, but are not limited to, Brookwood School (K-4)Greystone Centennial Middle School (5-9), and Living Waters Christian Academy (K-12), to name a few.  

Lastly, commuting to and from Springate is hardly considered a chore since it's so close to the Parkland Highway as well as the Yellowhead. Sitting only 11km from Edmonton proper, Spruce Grove is a popular choice for those that want quiet country living near the big city. Even if you rely on transit, Spruce Grove offers transportation to and from Edmonton at peak hours.
